As a Research Insights & Analytics professional at Protiviti, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the suite of reports essential for competitor analysis across the business. Your key responsibilities will include: - Regular Reports: You will be responsible for maintaining quarterly competitor baseline slides, competitor QFR and QSR pages, local competitor matrices, industry trend analysis, various reports for Product, and Fund Flow reports. - Competitor Displacement Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis on industry trends and fund-specific analysis using various tools like Morningstar, Broadridge, eVestment, Mercer, Preqin, and deliver findings in PowerPoint or Excel for retail and institutional channels. - Industry Analysis: Analyze and communicate market share and fund flows compared to competitors. - Provide support to the Product and Market Research team members in London and Hong Kong. - Automate reports and develop self-service tools for sales/marketing teams. Qualifications and Experience Required: - Masters degree in economics/business/finance. - CFA qualification would be advantageous. - 2-5 years of relevant experience in fund analysis, investment, or research-related roles. - Experience in Fixed Income Research/Fixed Income Fund Analysis or Equity Fund Analysis/Equity Research. Essential Skills: - Experience in Fixed Income Mutual Fund analysis or Fixed Income Research. - Experience in Equity Mutual Fund Analysis or Equity Research. - Knowledge of analytical tools and datasets such as Morningstar Direct, Broadridge, and eVestment. - Familiarity with the competitive landscape and distribution dynamics in the mutual fund industry. - Understanding of key portfolio analysis metrics/tools in asset management. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with VBA/Macro programming, PowerBI, and SQL is desirable. - Self-starters with the ability to prioritize and multitask. - Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
