The Womens Empowerment Society is seeking a Remote Sensing Technologist to join their team in Dhule Rural. As a Remote Sensing Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting remote sensing data analysis, developing GIS-based solutions, monitoring environmental changes, and providing technical reports and recommendations. Your role will involve working with satellite imagery, geographical data, and remote sensing software to support projects related to environmental management, agriculture, and community development. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is an essential aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote sensing data analysis
- Develop GIS-based solutions
- Monitor environmental changes
- Provide technical reports and recommendations
- Work with satellite imagery, geographical data, and remote sensing software
- Support projects related to environmental management, agriculture, and community development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Remote Sensing, GIS, and working with satellite imagery
- Experience with software tools such as ENVI, QGIS, or similar applications for spatial analysis
- Strong skills in data visualization, mapping, and spatial data interpretation
- Knowledge of techniques for environmental monitoring, land-use planning, and resource management
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work on field projects
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Prior experience in remote sensing projects or environmental research is an advantage Role Overview:
