Job Description
As a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst in Global Markets, your role will involve utilizing your minimum of 8 years of financial services experience with a focus on global markets trading and investment banking operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating knowledge of capital markets products such as cash securities, exchange-traded derivatives, and OTC derivative products.
- Understanding one or more non-financial regulatory reporting regulations like EMIR, SFTR, MiFID II/MiFIR.
- Implementing projects, operational process change, and improvement effectively.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including business management, middle office, compliance, legal, and technology.
- Collecting, defining, and documenting business and technology requirements, test plans, and other project management artifacts.
- Consulting with project stakeholders, facilitating compromises, and resolving conflicting requirements.
- Utilizing your strong consulting and stakeholder management skills to build and foster internal relationships.
- Applying your technical understanding of securities processing including product, process, and system knowledge.
- Leveraging your strong Microsoft Office skills, including Visio and Project.
Your competencies as a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst will include:
- Focus on execution/delivery with a drive for continuous improvement in change management processes.
- Strong organizational and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for facilitating discussions and presenting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and adapt to unexpected changes.
- Knowledge of planning, monitoring, and controlling programs and resources.
- Quick grasp and mastery of new concepts/requirements and related product/functional knowledge.
- Ability to understand technical implications of system design.
- Capability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions to complex challenges.
For this role, you are required to hold a Bachelors/University degree, with a Masters degree being preferred.
