Job Description
As a QMS Engineer, your keen eye for detail plays a crucial role in keeping the organization prepared for audits. You will be responsible for various key tasks and activities to ensure the Quality Management System functions effectively and efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **System Maintenance:** Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Quality Manuals as part of the Quality Management System documentation.
- **Audit Leadership:** Act as the main point of contact for external registrar audits (ISO/IATF), and lead and coordinate internal quality audits.
- **Defect Analysis & CAPA:** Utilize techniques like 8D, 5-Whys, or Fishbone diagrams to investigate the root causes of internal and external non-conformities.
- **Risk Management:** Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) meetings to identify potential areas of failure in the moulding process and implement mitigation plans.
- **Process Capability:** Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as scrap rates, OEE, and CPK/PPK levels to ensure process stability.
- **Supplier Quality:** Audit raw material and masterbatch suppliers to ensure incoming material quality meets production requirements. Manage the Engineering Change Note (ECN) process to document and verify any changes to molds or procedures without compromising quality.
- **Training:** Educate the Quality Control (QC) and production teams on the importance of data integrity, documentation procedures, and adherence to QMS standards.
**Qualifications Required:**
- **Experience:** 3 to 5 years
- **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
