QA Engineer

As an astute and dynamic individual, you will be responsible for building quality processes for large teams, especially in test automation. Your core responsibility will be to build the QA and Test automation according to the strategy designed for the Control Tower project. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with the team on quality assurance and quality control of a product during the development and execution phases. - Write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts. - Install and configure relevant products for quality assurance, providing business value. - Develop and maintain test cases for specific modules of the product. - Execute manual test cases and scenarios, and publish the results. - Participate in test case reviews. - Develop and maintain test data for designated modules. - Configure relevant products in all supported test environments. - Conduct exploratory testing as needed. - Identify and report software defects appropriately following the defined defect lifecycle. - Troubleshoot the root cause of defects with team members and resolve the issues. - Work with test management and test execution tools like HP QC and JIRA. - Understand business requirements and follow standard development processes and procedures. - Plan and prioritize work tasks with input from your manager. - Proactively notify managers of any impairments to commitments. - Proactively seek or provide assistance as required. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with 1.5 or more years of relevant hands-on work experience. - Experience with Java-based frameworks like Spring or Python-based frameworks. - Experience with debugging cloud-native applications. - Experience with API automation tools such as Rest Assured. - Experience with UI automation framework based on wdio/selenium. - Experience in integration testing of multiple microservices. - Knowledge of security authentication and authorization standards like OAuth and SSO. - Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) using Jenkins and Github Actions. - Good analytical and communication skills. - Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git and Stash/Bitbucket Serve.
