QA - Automation Tester

As a highly skilled Java Test Automation Engineer joining the Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and high-performing systems. You will take ownership of the automation lifecycle, including designing custom frameworks and integrating quality gates into DevOps pipelines. - **Framework Development:** Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks from scratch using Java and Selenium WebDriver (or Playwright). - **API Automation:** Build and execute comprehensive API test suites using RestAssured or Karate, ensuring backend service reliability. - **Performance & Database:** Perform backend validation by writing complex SQL queries and conducting basic performance tests (JMeter/K6). - **CI/CD Integration:** Integrate automated suites into Jenkins or GitHub Actions pipelines to support a "Shift-Left" testing culture. - **Collaborative Quality:** Work closely with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment to identify edge cases during the design phase, not just after deployment. - **Maintenance:** Optimize existing test scripts to reduce execution time and eliminate "flaky" tests.
