Python Backend Developer

As a Python Backend Developer at our company located in Jaipur, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, highperformance RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF). Your primary focus will be to collaborate with frontend teams working with Next.js and React.js to ensure reliable integrations and an exceptional developer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Django and DRF. - Develop scalable APIs for seamless integration with Next.js and React.js applications, including collaboration on API contracts, versioning, and error handling. - Write robust Python services and scripts utilizing concurrency patterns such as multithreading, multiprocessing, and asyncio where appropriate. - Implement authentication and authorization, request validation, ratelimiting, and other best practices for API security. - Ensure optimal performance, observability, and reliability through proper logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in Django, including ORM and migrations. - Handson experience with Django REST Framework, particularly in serializers, viewsets, permissions, and throttling. - Proven track record of designing and consuming REST APIs. - Practical knowledge of concurrency in Python, understanding when to employ multithreading, multiprocessing, and asyncio. - Good understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL, including schema design and query optimization. - Familiarity with Gitbased workflows and CI/CD practices.
