Job Description
As a Public Relations & Social Media Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital and public presence. Your responsibilities will include:
- **Content Strategy & Social Media Management**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Content Calendar.
- Manage and grow presence across all platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
- Diversify content formats: Create and schedule Stories, Reels, and Feed Posts tailored to each platform's unique audience.
- Ensure all content is posted on time and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- **Production Coordination**:
- Act as the primary liaison between the Camera/Production team and office staff.
- Direct shoots to ensure the right footage is captured for social-first content.
- Coordinate with office staff to identify "behind-the-scenes" opportunities and educational content.
- **PR, Media & Outreach**:
- Media Placement: Identify, pitch, and arrange guest spots on relevant podcasts and media channels.
- Outreach: Plan and execute public relations activities and community outreach programs to build brand authority.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain a database of media contacts, influencers, and industry partners.
- **Content Creation & Editing**:
- Perform basic video editing and graphic design for quick-turnaround content.
- Script and storyboard content ideas based on industry trends.
In addition to the above responsibilities, you are expected to have the following qualifications:
- **Experience**: Proficient in Social Media Management, PR, or Communications.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in social media management tools and basic video/photo editing software.
- **Organisation**: A "master of the calendar" who can juggle production schedules and posting deadlines effortlessly.
- **Communication**: Exceptional writing skills and the ability to pitch confidently to external media outlets.
- **Creativity**: An eye for creating engaging Reels or Stories.
- **Proactive Mindset**: Takes initiative in content creation and collaboration with the team.
