Job Description
As a Social Media Manager at SGT University, your role will involve leading and growing the digital presence of the university across various platforms. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing audience engagement, and aligning social media communication with advertising and branding goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create unique and engaging content for all university social media platforms
- Develop innovative content for scheduled posts to reinforce brand messaging
- Align social media communication with advertising, branding, and quarterly/seasonal goals
- Lead and manage the social media team, including copywriters and content creators
- Audit and analyze social media performance, including digital ad spends and ROI
- Track and evaluate social media campaigns to optimize performance and impact
- Collaborate with internal departments on campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives
- Monitor competitors' social media activity and prepare analytical reports
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field is often preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of related field work experience, preferably in the private University or Education sector
- In-depth understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective best practices
