Job Description

As a Project Support Engineer, your role will involve handling both hardware and software-related projects. It would be preferable if you have prior experience in the access control domain. You should be prepared to travel for approximately 30% of the time for onsite activities across PAN India as per project requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical support to Rack OEM System Integrator partners and end clients. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues, documenting solutions. - Conduct training sessions on software and hardware. - Perform on-site troubleshooting by visiting customer or company locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues and conduct PPM visits. - Maintain MIS documentation for call records and site visit reports. - Handle Data Centre project execution tasks, including the installation of SmartCABINETS and various projects. **Day-to-Day Tasks:** - Attend daily support calls and provide the required solutions, specifically in the Data Centre environment. - Attend and schedule software & hardware installations in the Data Centre. - Report software/hardware issues, coordinating with the software R&D team, production team, and service team for unresolved cases. - Coordinate closely with the Project team for project-related activities. - Collaborate with the software team to test software and provide the best solutions. - Maintain daily call records. **Qualification Required:** - Educational background in IT/Computer Science Diploma/B.E. in IT/Electronics & Telecommunication/Computer Science/Communication. **Knowledge and Experience:** - Minimum 0.6-2 years of hands-on experience with SQL-based software applications. - Basic understanding of networking concepts and structure. - Strong communication skills, being confident and able to interact effectively with clients via telephone, email, and in-person meetings. - Willingness to travel immediately for on-site work (approximately 30% travel required). **Required Skills:** - Provide technical support to Rack OEM. - Maintain MIS documentation.
