Project Manager (Substation)

<p><strong>Role & responsibilities</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Lead endtoend project management for<span> </span><strong>765/400 kV</strong><span> </span>or<span> </span><strong>400/220 kV GIS Substation</strong><span> </span>projects.</li>

<li>Review project designs, technical specifications, drawings, and execution plans.</li>

<li>Manage and coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, consultants, and client teams.</li>

<li>Monitor progress, ensure timely execution, and maintain project schedules and budgets.</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout execution.</li>

<li>Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of GIS substation equipment.</li>

<li>Identify project risks, create mitigation plans, and resolve onsite challenges.</li>

<li>Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, and reporting to management/client.</li>

<li>Ensure all documentation, approvals, and statutory clearances are completed on time.</li>

<li>Lead multidisciplinary project teams and maintain strong stakeholder communication.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred candidate profile</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Diploma / BE / B.Tech in<span> </span><strong>Electrical Engineering</strong>.</li>

<li><strong>10-20 years</strong><span> </span>of experience in project management and execution of highvoltage substations.</li>

<li>Proven experience in<span> </span><strong>765/400 kV GIS Substation</strong><span> </span>or<span> </span><strong>400/220 kV GIS Substation</strong><span> </span>projects is mandatory.</li>

<li>Strong understanding of electrical systems, protection schemes, substation equipment, and construction methodologies.</li>

<li>Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, IS, relevant utility norms).</li>

<li>Strong leadership, decisionmaking, and problemsolving skills.</li>

<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.</li>
