Job Description
As an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with expertise in pharmaceutical utility and HVAC systems, your role will involve managing and executing mechanical engineering projects within pharmaceutical facilities. You will be responsible for preparing design specifications and engineering calculations for utility equipment, performing HVAC design calculations and system planning, and preparing tenders, BOQs, and technical documentation. It will be crucial to ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, ISO standards, and NBC codes. Your oversight will extend to fabrication standards, installation activities, HVAC, utilities, and water systems for pharma plants. Additionally, you will lead and support energy efficiency and energy-saving initiatives while coordinating with cross-functional teams for project planning, execution, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute mechanical engineering projects within pharmaceutical facilities.
- Prepare design specifications and engineering calculations for utility equipment.
- Perform HVAC design calculations and system planning.
- Prepare tenders, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, ISO standards, and NBC codes.
- Oversee fabrication standards and installation activities.
- Manage HVAC, utilities, and water systems for pharma plants.
- Lead and support energy efficiency and energy-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project planning, execution, and commissioning.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1218 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong experience in HVAC systems, utility systems, water systems, and pharma project execution.
- Knowledge of GMP compliance and safety standards is mandatory.
In addition to the above requirements, preferred skills for this role include strong project management and coordination skills, experience in pharma plant engineering projects, and knowledge of energy optimization solutions.
