Product Manager - General Insurance Sector

As a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager / Senior Product Manager in the General Insurance sector (Non Motor, Property & Casualty, Fire, and Marine), your primary role will be to lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to execution. You should have a strong background in product management, including creating and managing BRDs and FRDs, as well as a successful track record of driving product launches in the insurance domain. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with business objectives specific to the General Insurance industry. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery. - Gather and analyze user and business requirements to create clear BRDs and FRDs. - Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and regulatory assessments to identify trends and opportunities. - Define key product metrics and drive data-driven decision-making. - Work with stakeholders to prioritize product features based on customer needs and compliance requirements. - Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, planning, development, launch, and post-launch optimization. - Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and industry standards in product development. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 8+ years of product management experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in the General Insurance industry. - Strong expertise in creating and managing BRDs and FRDs. - Proven success in launching and scaling insurance products. - Deep understanding of General Insurance products, underwriting, claims management, and regulatory requirements. - Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar. - Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Insurance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
