Product Forward Deployed Engineer - Senior

Role Overview:

As a Product Forward Deployed Engineer- Senior at Salesforce, you will be part of the Product Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team, which serves as Salesforce's zero-to-one engine for new agentic product innovation. You will have the opportunity to work directly with strategic customers to validate emerging AI capabilities, shape the product roadmap, and drive innovation. Your role will involve defining what comes next, working with AI features at an early stage, and solving problems to improve the platform for all customers. Your high agency and self-motivation will be crucial in navigating ambiguous, high-stakes environments and driving technical engagements with customers to architect solutions that solve real problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Field Validation:
• Deploy and stress-test pilot features with customers, identifying platform gaps and providing structured feedback to Technology & Product
• Conduct feasibility research on novel use cases and design experiments to validate hypotheses in the field
• Document and escalate critical engineering issues with detailed evidence packages for accelerated resolution
• Customer Engagement:
• Lead technical engagement of new products and features
• Embed directly with customer teams to understand their operational environment and architect solutions
• Run rapid prototyping and POC cycles to validate technical feasibility
• Product Acceleration & Feedback:
• Build reusable accelerators, playbooks, and reference architectures to shape the product roadmap
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to influence roadmap priorities based on customer feedback
• Represent the voice of the customer in internal product discussions and planning cycles

Qualifications Required:

• 8+ years of hands-on engagement in enterprise software or SaaS environments, with a strong foundation in Salesforce development
• Demonstrated experience deploying AI/LLM-based solutions, with proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, and security frameworks
• Experience designing scalable enterprise solutions, integrating Salesforce with other platforms, and establishing data governance
• Hands-on working knowledge across Agentforce capabilities and certifications in Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, Data 360 Consultant & Platform developer I, Platform developer II
