Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Cloud Technology Enthusiast, you will be responsible for leveraging technology to solve business problems. Your role will involve engaging with customers and partners to support sales activities for various technology products and services, including Cloud PaaS, IaaS, databases, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Oracle Tech presales support by analyzing customer requirements and proposing appropriate solutions
- Assist sales reps in identifying upselling opportunities and closing sales to achieve revenue targets
- Lead cloud solutioning engagements with potential and existing customers
- Guide customer organizations on best practices for building cloud-based applications
- Assist in sizing, capacity estimation, and cost benefit analysis
- Develop strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Support sales opportunities by creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Oracle's Database and Public Cloud solutions
- Foster relationships with key customers and transfer knowledge to team members
- Expected to travel 25% of the time
Qualification Required:
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
- 8-15 years of relevant IT experience
- Hands-on experience with IAAS or PAAS like OCI/AWS/AZURE
- Pre-sales or Sales Engineering experience
- Familiarity with technologies such as Microservices, serverless, DevOps, Containers, Kubernetes, and configuration management tools
- Strong communication, presentation, and whiteboarding skills
- Knowledge of Cloud architecture/solutions, BCP/DR solutions, On-Prem to Cloud Migration, Database Technologies, Analytics, Warehousing solutions, Virtualization, Networking fundamentals, Cloud Security, Application Layer Integration technologies, and PAAS solutions
- Cloud certifications on AWS/AZURE/OCI would be an advantage
- Exposure to SaaS technologies like Salesforce, Oracle SaaS, Ebusiness suite, Workday, etc.
