Job Description
As a Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in network and cyber security at Integrated Tech9Labs, your role will involve a variety of key responsibilities to effectively support the company's IT infrastructure solutions and services. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities:
- **Network Design & Implementation:**
- Develop scalable and secure network architectures.
- Design and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- **Configuration & Installation:**
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VoIP systems.
- Install and support network equipment like DNS, DHCP, and WAN accelerators.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting:**
- Monitor network performance and resolve issues.
- Apply software patches and replace faulty hardware.
- **Security Management:**
- Implement encryption and other security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
- **Client Engagement:**
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements.
- Conduct meetings to gather technical & business needs.
- **Solution Design:**
- Design and propose networking solutions tailored to client needs.
- Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- **Technical Presentations:**
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
- Explain complex networking concepts in simple terms to clients.
- **Sales Support:**
- Assist in preparing proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and pricing models.
- Provide technical backup during client meetings & negotiations.
- Address technical objections and ensure feasibility.
**Required Skills and Certifications:**
- CCNA, CCNP, and other Network or Security certifications.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN).
- Experience with Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Familiarity with technical sales processes and CRM tools.
- Problem-solving and client relationship management skills.
