As a Preschool Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the academic and operational functioning of the preschool on a day-to-day basis. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Guiding and supervising pre-primary teachers and assistant teachers to ensure curriculum alignment and quality delivery.
- Monitoring lesson planning, classroom observations, documentation, and child progress tracking.
- Ensuring implementation of Early Years pedagogy (Montessori / EYFS-inspired framework).
- Maintaining high standards of classroom environment, safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- Conducting regular teacher observations, providing constructive feedback, and supporting professional development.
- Managing parent communication, addressing concerns professionally, and conducting orientation / PTMs.
- Coordinating admissions-related academic interactions and assisting in parent counseling when required.
- Planning and executing school events, celebrations, workshops, and activity calendars.
- Ensuring adherence to child protection, safety protocols, and institutional policies.
- Working closely with the Director to build systems, processes, and a strong founding team culture.
Qualifications Required for the Preschool Coordinator role:
- Graduate / Postgraduate with ECCE / NTT certification (Montessori training preferred).
- Minimum 37 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 12 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and classroom management.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Confidence in handling parent interactions and managing a team of teachers.
- Well-groomed, presentable, and aligned with a premium preschool environment.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and process-oriented skills.
- Basic proficiency in technology (ERP systems, MS Office, Google Workspace).
