Job Description
As a PLM Support Engineer at Sulzer, you will be responsible for providing support for Teamcenter PLM and CAD applications, including handling incidents and service requests through the Service Now portal following the ITIL process. Your main accountabilities and tasks will include:
- Supporting Teamcenter PLM and CAD applications at L2 and L3 levels
- Managing user access by creating and maintaining accounts in Teamcenter PLM
- Assisting in PLM and CAD implementation projects by conducting testing and validation activities for new software implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Resolving incidents and conducting root cause analysis and problem management to address issues permanently
- Identifying critical issues and ensuring successful resolution
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent. Possessing certifications in ITIL and familiarity with Azure DevOps would be advantageous. Proficiency in English is required, along with soft skills such as being proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented. You should also have the ability to work well in a team as well as independently, along with strong communication skills.
