Platform Software Architect

As a Software Architecture Engineer at Valeo, you will play a crucial role in defining the software architecture of the product, ensuring its robustness, and supporting the engineering discipline requirements management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Communicating detailed status of technical issues with software project management and customers when necessary. - Reviewing new software requirements and change requests, providing detailed analysis for quality and technical understanding. - Creating estimates for software change requests and RFQs. - Reviewing and auditing developer code changes. - Ensuring adherence to software architectural design in low level design requirements. - Reviewing high level architecture design requirements for quality and understanding. - Contributing to high level architecture design as needed. - Leading software design change/reviews with customers and other suppliers. - Participating in reviews of the software integration test specification and providing guidance to resolve open findings. - Ensuring software quality through following development best practices. - Traveling up to 5% to customer sites for software troubleshooting as required.
