Palo Alto Network Security Engineer

As a Palo Alto Network Security Engineer at matchlabtalent.com, your role involves maintaining the client's security and networking devices, upgrading them when necessary, and providing support for other engineers on PA equipment/software. You will also cross-train in-house to share knowledge and workload efficiently. Additionally, you may be responsible for LAN installation, including switches and routers (Cisco and HP), and supporting project managers on security/network deployments. Your responsibilities will include documentation for customer installations, providing continuous service advice, and proactively reviewing and maintaining client infrastructure. In emergency situations, you will be required to perform effective troubleshooting during production outages, whether working remotely or onsite as per business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain client's security and networking devices, upgrading when necessary - Provide support for other engineers on PA equipment/software & cross-train in-house - Assist in LAN installation including switches and routers (Cisco and HP) - Support project managers on security/network deployments - Document customer installations and provide continuous service advice - Proactively review and maintain client infrastructure - Respond effectively to emergency situations and perform troubleshooting during outages - Work remotely or onsite as per business requirements Qualifications Required: - Knowledge and experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Security Appliances (minimum three years) - Experience with installing Cisco and HP networking equipment - Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification preferred - CCNP certified (or higher) - Familiarity with protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing - Thorough knowledge of Panorama, Wildfire, Global Protect, SSL decryption, and other Palo Alto features - Experience supporting clients remotely and face to face, working with SIP providers, and using Wireshark or other protocol analyzers - Flexible to work outside business hours and remain calm under pressure - Understanding of NAC solutions (Cisco ISE), Cisco Prime & DNAC, UTM/ATP features, IPS/IDS, F5 Load balancer, Proxy solutions, and Network tools - Performance Management & Optimization, Firewall rules configuration, NAT and routing, firewall audit finding remediation, log management, and analysis Additional Details: - Good to have 2+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer - Understanding of IOT devices, IDS/IDP administration, sandbox features, SIEM/SOAR tools - Ability to work under pressure, good communication skills - Experience in IOS upgradation, firewall implementation, MIM call participation - Preferably CCNP Security/ITIL Knowledge, Palo Alto Certification Apply now to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
