As a Packaging and Visual Identity Designer at OWN (Only Whats Needed), you will play a crucial role in shaping OWNs visual identity through packaging, illustration, and print execution. Your primary focus will be on creating designs that meet the brand's philosophy of simplicity and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the end-to-end packaging design process, from conceptualization to creating print-ready artworks.
- Develop illustrations and branding elements that contribute to a cohesive and premium visual identity for the brand.
- Ensure high-accuracy in dielines, layouts, and artworks to maintain design precision.
- Manage print execution tasks such as pre-press checks, maintaining color accuracy, selecting finishes, and adhering to specifications.
Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop to create visually appealing designs.
- Knowledge of printing techniques, dielines, color profiles, and finishes to ensure quality output.
- Experience working with FMCG, beauty, wellness, or D2C brands would be advantageous.
- Ability to go beyond aesthetics and consider brand positioning, compliances, and consistency in design decisions.
