OT PCN Network Engineer - Firewall & Industrial Networks

As a Network Engineer specializing in firewall and industrial networks, your primary role will involve designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructures within Operational Technology (OT) and Process Control Network (PCN) environments. Your expertise in firewall technologies, routing, switching, and secure industrial network architecture will be crucial to ensuring the integrity and security of the network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement secure and scalable network architectures for OT / PCN environments - Provide Level support for complex routing, switching, and firewall-related incidents - Configure and troubleshoot enterprise-grade firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) - Implement and support VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and High Availability (HA) firewall configurations - Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure IT-OT network segmentation - Participate in structured change management processes and ensure compliance with industrial standards - Maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, and audit records - Support both collocated and remote industrial environments - Coordinate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) when required - Assist in wireless deployments where applicable Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering - Minimum 3 years of experience in OT / Industrial / Process Control Network environments - Strong hands-on experience in routing and switching - Strong firewall expertise (Palo Alto preferred; Cisco ASA / Fortinet acceptable) - Experience configuring VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and HA firewalls - Solid understanding of OT and IT network segmentation principles - Experience working in structured, process-driven support models - Exposure to compliance and change management in regulated environments Preferred Skills: - Experience with Palo Alto Panorama - Exposure to Cisco WLC or Aruba wireless infrastructure - Knowledge of Prisma SASE or cloud-based firewall deployments - Basic understanding of Azure networking - Familiarity with SCADA, PLC, or other industrial control systems - ITIL Foundation certification Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
