Job Description
As the Operations Manager - North, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of 7-10 dark stores across the Delhi NCR region. Your role will require strong ownership of store operations, sales performance, inventory control, and people management to ensure operational excellence and business growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Operations and Store Management:**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned dark stores to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Drive adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and operational benchmarks.
- Ensure optimal store productivity and cost efficiency.
- **Sales and Performance Management:**
- Monitor and improve store-level sales performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve regional targets.
- **Inventory and Replenishment:**
- Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy, and shrinkage control.
- Manage replenishment cycles and ensure product availability.
- Support demand planning to align stock levels with sales forecasts.
- **Demand Planning:**
- Analyze demand patterns and coordinate with central teams for accurate forecasting.
- Ensure minimal stock-outs and optimal inventory turns.
- **Workforce Management:**
- Plan and manage staff rostering to ensure adequate coverage.
- Lead, coach, and develop store teams for high performance.
- **People Management and Attrition Control:**
- Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, and engagement of store teams.
- Monitor attrition trends and implement retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
**Qualifications Required:**
- 6-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in retail, Q-commerce, dark stores, or multi-store environments.
- Proven experience managing multiple stores or dark stores.
- Strong understanding of operations, sales, inventory, replenishment, and demand planning.
- Hands-on experience in people management and workforce planning.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup, or high-growth environment.
