Role Overview:
You will be working as a Network Engineer (L2) with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Bengaluru. The role involves providing 24/7 support on a rotational shift basis for NOC Support focusing on Incident and Change Management. Your primary responsibilities will include configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls, managing VLANs and routing protocols, responding to complex network incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), ensuring network redundancy and load balancing.
- Respond to complex network incidents and provide second-line support for escalated issues from L1 engineers.
- Participate in network upgrades and improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
- Create IPSec VPNs in routers.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
Qualification Required:
- Relevant Experience: 5 to 8 years (as per client definition for L2).
- Certifications: CCNA and CCNP.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper switches.
- Basic firewall operations knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and support skills in a NOC environment. Role Overview:
