Network Routing / Network Switching

As a skilled Network Engineer at Teamware Solutions, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure network infrastructures to support critical business operations. Your passion for network stability, performance, and advanced networking technologies will be key in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, configure, and implement complex routing and switching solutions using various protocols and technologies. - Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions with minimal disruption. - Ensure network designs meet business requirements for performance, scalability, security, and high availability. - Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and Static Routing. - Implement and manage VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and route redistribution. - Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching protocols including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, and QoS. - Perform advanced network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity, performance, and routing/switching issues. - Implement network security best practices, including ACLs, firewall policies, and network segmentation. - Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a robust focus on routing and switching. - In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other major network vendor equipment. - Expertise in TCP/IP stack, subnetting, and network troubleshooting tools. - Strong understanding of network security principles. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: - Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certifications (or equivalent from other vendors). - Experience with SD-WAN technologies. - Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (Azure Networking, AWS VPC). - Knowledge of network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
