Network and Security Lead

As a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Professional at Kyndryl, your role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that supports cybersecurity operations for Fortune 500 clients. Your responsibilities include: - Acting as a liaison between Network and Network Security teams. - Providing technical oversight of Network & Information Security technologies to ensure they operate within agreed service levels. - Managing planned maintenance activities and standardizing processes for Network & Information Security technologies. - Driving incident response efforts to identify and remediate security threats and vulnerabilities. - Offering 24/7 network support for troubleshooting and resolving network and security-related issues. - Continuously monitoring and optimizing network performance to minimize downtime and ensure high availability of services. - Ensuring compliance with security regulations such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and other applicable policies. - Identifying potential risks in the network and security landscape and proposing effective mitigation strategies. - Articulating technology issues to senior business and technology leaders for strategic decisions. Qualifications required for this role include: - Mastery of security tools and technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, and SIEM solutions. - Deep understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux and their security mechanisms. - Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. - Experience with key market-leading technologies in the relevant area. - Ability to assess and follow best practices in technology deployment and configuration. - Experience with the design and implementation of security architectures, segmentation, and zero trust frameworks. Preferred qualifications include: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields. - Experience in managing Network Devices & Firewalls for 8+ years. - Proficiency in networking technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and wireless technologies. - Strong knowledge of firewalls, Citrix NetScaler, NAC, and secure DNS solutions. - Familiarity with cloud security and network automation tools. - Experience with network monitoring solutions and virtualization technologies.
