.NET Technical Architect

Role Overview: You will be responsible for architecting and evolving a scalable, modular, and extensible SaaS core platform used by global feature teams. Your role will involve defining and enforcing architectural standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying duplication of work, owning the technical roadmap, conducting architecture reviews, mentoring engineers, ensuring platform security and performance, and participating in incident reviews. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and evolve a scalable, modular, and extensible SaaS core platform - Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on platform capabilities and integration strategies - Identify and eliminate duplication of work by designing reusable services and standard APIs - Own the technical roadmap for the core platform in alignment with product vision - Conduct architecture reviews, technical audits, and evaluate new tools/technologies - Mentor and guide engineers in the team - Ensure the platform is secure, resilient, and performs at scale - Participate in incident reviews and root cause analysis for major issues Qualifications Required: - Proven experience (15+ years) in software development, with at least 3+ years in a software architect or senior technical leadership role - Strong experiences of microservices, event-driven design, and asynchronous communication patterns - Hands-on experience with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Mass Transit or similar - Strong knowledge of distributed system design and scalability - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization - Experience in C# and .NET ecosystems - Knowledge of Microfrontend architecture is a plus - Excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities Company Details: Collaboration Betters The World (CBTW) is a global independent tech consultancy group with a team of more than 2,700 tech specialists in over 35 cities worldwide.
