Job Description

You will be joining a team of Mechanical - Thermal engineering professionals at AECOM, where you will actively contribute to innovative projects across various infrastructure sectors such as AI/ML Data Center, Commercial Buildings, Healthcare, Aviation, Transport, Industrial, and Advanced manufacturing. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Applying Indian (IS/NBC), ASHRAE, ANSI, ASME, Semicon standards in Mechanical design - Performing design and analysis of HVAC systems for clean rooms, production areas, and semi-conductor FAB areas - Reviewing multidisciplinary inputs and effectively integrating them into structural designs - Conducting cooling/heating/humidification load calculations, moisture load calculations, humidity/Dew Point control philosophies, and control system design - Coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure clash-free and code-compliant designs - Designing industrial exhaust systems and exhaust air treatment systems - Assisting in the design, coordination, planning, and execution of engineering projects - Preparing design calculations, conceptual sketches, technical schemes, and memos - Contributing to the preparation of technical proposals and engineering reports - Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, client representatives, and contractors Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred - Professional Engineering (PE) license - 14+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project leadership Additionally, you should possess: - In-depth understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm, is committed to delivering a better world by partnering with clients to solve complex challenges in water, environment, energy, transportation, and buildings.
