Job Description
As a highly experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong Subsea domain expertise, your role will involve deep technical capability in subsea mechanical design, focusing on manifolds, piping connections, and pressure systems. Your leadership and mentoring abilities will be crucial in ensuring strict enforcement of engineering standards and accountability within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design activities for subsea systems, including manifolds, piping connections, and associated components.
- Develop advanced 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using CREO.
- Ensure full compliance with ASME, GD&T, and ISO standards such as ISO 1101 and ASME Y14.5.
- Perform tolerance stack-up and dimensioning analysis for design optimization.
- Manage product structures, BOMs, revisions, and engineering changes within TeamCenter, with hands-on usage.
- Execute and manage ECN/ECR workflows efficiently within TeamCenter.
- Maintain strict drawing control and configuration management standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Conduct design reviews to enforce technical quality benchmarks and promote continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers to promote technical knowledge-sharing and drive performance within the team.
Mandatory Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience in the Subsea sector, particularly in manifold design, piping interfaces, and pressure-containing components.
- Advanced proficiency in CREO for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Hands-on experience in TeamCenter PLM for BOM management, revision control, and change management workflows.
- Very strong working knowledge of GD&T, ISO 1101, ASME Y14.5, and other ASME & ISO mechanical design standards.
- Excellent ability to interpret and validate complex technical drawings, including symbols, tolerances, dimensioning, and layouts.
- Strong English communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and stakeholders.
