Role Overview:
You will be joining Hitachi Energy as a Marketing Communications Specialist to support the Service Business globally in creating compelling marketing and sales materials, developing campaigns, and enhancing customer engagement in events. Your role will involve crafting narratives to showcase service offerings, customer success stories, and technical expertise to establish Hitachi Energy as a trusted partner in the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality and visually appealing content for marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, service profiles, promotions, and presentations for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, Global M&S stakeholders, R&D, and product managers to translate technical information into customer-friendly language.
- Drive global and regional Marketing campaigns and support events by producing relevant content for improved customer engagement.
- Maintain and update Marketing and Sales repositories to ensure version control and accessibility.
- Assist in developing strategies aligned with customer journeys and personas.
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all formats.
- Track performance, optimize content, and processes based on analytics and stakeholder feedback.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors or masters degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. (Electrical / Mechanical engineering degree is a plus)
- 5 to 7 years of experience in content writing and campaigns, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors, with a preference for the Energy sector.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of Transformers, High-Voltage products, system integration, and grid automation is advantageous. Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and content management systems.
- Experience in writing Marketing and sales collaterals and Campaigns. Proficiency in analytics tools for measuring content effectiveness.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Additional skills in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Marketing Automation tools like Eloqua, and experience working in a global, cross-functional environment will be beneficial.
