Role Overview:
As a Manager of Brand Insights & Analytics at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and delivery of impactful research and analytics solutions for our brands. Your responsibilities will include translating complex data into actionable business insights, driving commercial value, mentoring team members, and ensuring successful project execution. You will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality and business-relevant insights for Marketing and Commercial functions. Your deep category knowledge, research expertise, and analytical skills will be instrumental in informing brand and business decisions across various markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic engagements by defining objectives, designing methodology, overseeing data collection/analysis, and delivering high-quality insights.
- Manage the continuous Brand Tracking program (Kantar Brand Guidance) to ensure robust insights and timely delivery of reports.
- Translate complex data from various sources (Kantar, Nielsen, Panels, Social Media, Sales, etc.) and conduct deep-dive analyses to address strategic business issues and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with in-country Insights Managers and Brand Teams across Europe, Africa, and the Americas to ensure insights drive decisions and strategy.
- Lead strategic insight projects beyond routine tracking, focusing on long-term brand and commercial growth.
- Manage ad-hoc requests by defining project scope, estimating timelines, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Consolidate multiple data streams (HH Panel, Nielsen, Survey, etc.) to generate holistic brand and consumer understanding.
- Collaborate across internal teams (data science, product, operations) and with clients to shape new offerings and solutions.
- Drive automation and standardization across Insight processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality.
- Develop and implement best practices in analytics, storytelling, and data visualization.
- Build analytical and storytelling capabilities within the team through coaching and mentorship.
- Requires strong collaboration with global Insights Directors, in-market brand and insights managers, and GCC commercial teams.
- Operate in a fast-paced, virtual, and multicultural environment balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Qualification Required:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in FMCG, Retail Insights, Analytics, or Consulting.
- 7+ years in market research and analytics (brand health tracking, shopper insights, or consumer analytics).
- 3+ years of people management experience, preferably leading cross-market/global teams.
- Experience managing multiple data sources and external vendors/agencies.
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and strong statistical knowledge.
- Good to have: Python, SQL, or other data manipulation tools.
- Strong data storytelling and visualization skills ability to turn numbers into narratives.
