Role Overview:

As the Market Intelligence Lead at NxtWave, you will be responsible for keeping a pulse on the market by analyzing customer sentiment, tracking competitors, and identifying new opportunities for growth. Your insights will directly influence product strategy, drive innovation, and help the company stay ahead of emerging trends. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, research depth, leadership capability, and the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Sentiment Analysis: Lead data collection and analysis of customer sentiment to identify strengths, pain points, and improvement areas.
  • Primary Research: Conduct structured telephonic and stakeholder-based research to generate actionable insights.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Track and analyze competitor products, pricing, marketing strategies, and customer reception.
  • Market Research: Identify emerging trends, product opportunities, and market gaps using industry data and customer feedback.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of research associates responsible for collecting and interpreting customer and competitor insights.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Create and present comprehensive insights to product, marketing, and leadership teams to inform strategic decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to align intelligence efforts with company priorities.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Deliver regular reports and visual dashboards summarizing market intelligence and recommendations.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine research frameworks and feedback systems for accuracy, scalability, and impact.

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in market research, customer insights, or competitive intelligence, ideally within tech or edtech. Proven experience managing a team and driving strategic outcomes.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights. Excellent communication and presentation abilities for cross-functional stakeholders. Proficiency in using research and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, CRM systems). Strategic mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability. Comfortable conducting primary research calls and stakeholder interviews.
