Manufacturing Planning Lead

**Role Overview:** As a Lead Manufacturing Planner at Ather's Hosur Factory, you will be a crucial part of the Manufacturing Planning Team under Central Planning. Your primary responsibility will be to synchronize corporate strategy, factory execution, and the Complex Value Chain across all products and services. You will play a key role in translating high-level OKRs into actionable production schedules, applying DevOps principles to the manufacturing environment, and ensuring seamless engineering changes and new product iterations. Your focus will be on meeting demand through sophisticated Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), optimizing inventory velocity, and achieving the target market share. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and track high-level manufacturing OKRs using Jira and SAP to align departmental goals with corporate strategy. - Synchronize high-volume production schedules with complex material requirements, bridging the gap between central strategy and shop-floor execution. - Implement World Class Manufacturing pillars (JIT, Kanban, Heijunka) to reduce WIP and total manufacturing lead times. - Act as the functional lead for SAP S/4HANA (PP/MM/FICO) to ensure 100% data integrity for BOMs, routings, and material masters. - Facilitate cross-functional integration between R&D and the shop floor to ensure smooth transition of new product iterations into mass production. - Leverage Should-Costing and Zero-Based Costing (ZBC) to drive cost-reduction programs and model ROI for automation improvements. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience: 12 - 15 years in the Automobile, Manufacturing, or Heavy Engineering sectors. - Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering; MBA from a Tier 1 institution is a significant plus. **Additional Company Details:** At Ather, the focus is on building Indias first intelligent scooter with clean design and smart technology, transforming the urban commute experience.
