Role Overview:
You will be joining Bristol Myers Squibb as a Manager II, Operations Finance, where you will play a crucial role as a highly collaborative Finance business partner within the GPS organization in the Hyderabad Hub. Your exceptional expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling will contribute to the success of the Finance function and BMS. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform FP&A activities including monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis, identifying key drivers and root causes
- Develop clear explanations of financial variances, highlighting risks, opportunities, and trends
- Partner closely with business leaders to provide actionable financial guidance
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for management
- Challenge assumptions and recommend corrective actions for efficiency improvements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems and reports
- Continuously improve financial analysis processes and reporting tools
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in finance
- Exceptional expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Deep understanding of the manufacturing setup in the pharmaceutical industry and industry dynamics
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization
- Proactive risk management and ability to manage through times of crisis and ambiguity
