Manager Experience Technology

You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end full life cycle development and operations of highly scalable platforms/components. This includes architecting and scaling the engineering platform to reduce technical debt, improve performance, and increase agility. You will need to have experience with various technology stacks, including web application development, middleware, integration, and enterprise architecture. Your role will involve fostering a culture of innovation and fast execution, leading by example with hands-on execution. You will also be required to build best-in-class data/machine learning algorithms and platforms for solving complex problems, as well as microservices written in Java and data-related engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end full life cycle development and operations of highly scalable platforms/components. - Architect and scale engineering platform to reduce technical debt, improve performance, and agility. - Foster culture of innovation and fast execution, leading by example and hands-on execution. - Build best in class data/machine learned algorithms and platforms for solving complex problems. - Develop microservices written in Java, data-related engineering initiatives, and more. - Commit to fostering a quality-focused development culture while managing a team of engineers. - Lead talent management efforts for Technology, including hiring, developing, training, and retaining a best-in-class team. - Demonstrate hands-on technology expertise with an eye for details and scale. - Experience in developing applications using multiple stacks. - Experience in building web applications and SOA (microservices) based large scale setups. - Proven experience in architecture, design, and delivery of data & scale-intensive applications. - Ability to design high-level & low-level solutions for problem statements and defend design and tech choices. - Excellent prioritization and project management skills. - Sound knowledge and experience working in various agile frameworks and project tools. - Expertise in Java language and web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML). - Experience with modern web UI frameworks like React and Angular. - Lead a QA/testing function and develop automation techniques to improve ongoing quality of delivery. - Build high throughput, low latency web services over Strings and Binary Protocols. - Expert level knowledge of Data Sources from RDBMS to NoSQL (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra). - Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. - Expertise in Linux. - Experience with architecting systems for AWS is a plus. - Familiarity with web paradigms such as REST, Responsive Web Design, Test-driven development. - Understanding of data engineering and machine learning is advantageous.
