Job Description

Role Overview: As a Maintenance and Monitoring Tool Engineer at C1, your role involves maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting ConvergeOne Monitoring tools such as ScienceLogic EM7, PRTG, SAL, and ConvergeoneVision. You will be responsible for validating customer connectivity, performing Root Cause Analysis, documenting processes and procedures, and participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will be conducting demonstrations of the tools to customers and supporting the sale of maintenance and managed services. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various monitoring tools - Validate proper customer connectivity configurations - Conduct Root Cause Analysis on major issues - Document all processes and procedures related to the tools environment - Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives - Perform demonstrations of tools to customers - Assist in internal and external escalations for tool-related issues - Diagnose and evaluate complex issues - Manage Service Request and Incident tickets - Complete customer audits for monitoring configurations - Provide solutions to a diverse range of complex problems - Maintain positive customer satisfaction levels - Perform periodic performance reporting for capacity planning - Liaise with tool manufacturers for ongoing hardware/software needs - Conduct training of support staff and management - Manage team member projects related to server instances - Engineer Service Agreement-related solutions - Install and configure servers according to standards and requirements - Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures - Monitor system integrity, hardware, and server resources Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of customer relationship management experience - Background in large corporate environments - Experience in telecommunications or data network maintenance - Windows or Linux server environment administration experience - Expertise in SNMP based alerting configuration - Knowledge of Networking protocols and firewall configuration - Familiarity with SAT commands - Strong leadership experience - Knowledge of technology industry trends - Effective communication skills in English - Negotiation, coordination, and conflict resolution skills - Analytical, interpersonal, and relationship building skills - Strong sense of urgency and commitment - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to analyze complex data and systems - Adaptability to change and multitasking Desired/Preferred Qualifications: - Avaya Certified, ACS, or ACE - Expertise in Avaya products and MIB's - Tools Manufacturer Certified (ScienceLogic, PRTG, etc) - Data Manufacturer Certified (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, etc) - Practical experience in best practice frameworks - Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or ITIL Foundations (Note: Additional details about C1 benefits and work environment have been omitted as they are not directly related to the job description provided.)
