Machine Learning Engineer

As a SET-II at Mindtickle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the product quality of an Enterprise SaaS platform. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Engineering team to develop a robust test strategy and execute test cases and QA processes to maintain quality throughout the release schedule. Here are the key responsibilities you will undertake: - Develop a strong functional and architectural understanding of the product/system under test to derive the Test Plan. - Review and analyze system specifications and design documents to understand the system and identify potential failure cases. - Collaborate with other teams to validate end-to-end product quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Create, prioritize, develop, and maintain test cases for multiple features of the product. - Establish a Test Environment/Test bed representative of customers and end users. - Perform functional and non-functional tests, including automated scripts for Cloud and Mobile applications. - Report defects with all necessary information and triage and track reported defects to closure. - Communicate test results to identify risks and dependencies and escalate issues promptly. - Take responsibility for either Automation, Performance, or Security aspects of the product. - Utilize analytical skills to identify and debug the root cause of issues. - Guide junior team members in their tasks. In order to be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - 4 - 6 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 3 years working on a cloud-native SaaS platform/product. - At least 2 years of experience in Big Data, ETL, or Analytics Testing. - Investigative Skills - Curiosity, keen observation, eye for detail, Logical, Analytical, and Critical thinking skills, Problem-solving skills, and Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Experience in Testing: Test-to-fail mindset, test case design, test planning, test prioritization, and defect reporting. - Knowledge of Cloud Technologies: AWS cloud, Microservices, Messaging brokers (Kafka / RabbitMQ / AWS SQS/SNS). - Proficiency in API testing (REST, gRPC, GQL) with open-source tools (Postman, GQL Playground). - Familiarity with Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes commands) and Databases (Relational and non-relational databases, SQL commands). - Hands-on experience in Observability and Monitoring tools like Datadog and Sumologic. - Working knowledge of Agile methodology and collaboration/test Management tools (Confluence, Jira, TestRail). - Self-starter, good team player, and highly motivated. Additionally, the following qualifications are considered a plus: - Experience with Snowflake, CB preferred. - Coding or Scripting knowledge in any one: Javascript / Java / Python / GoLang. - Understanding and hands-on experience in Performance Testing of SaaS/Cloud products & Security Testing. - Familiarity with Automation tools (generic test automation frameworks: data-driven, keyword-driven).
