Lead UX Designer / Product Designer

As the Lead Product Designer for New Asset Classes at CoinDCX, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the user experience strategy for the expansion into traditional financial products. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining and owning the end-to-end design strategy and experience vision for all new asset classes such as Stocks, Metals, Commodities, Forex, etc. - Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to align the design roadmap with business objectives and regulatory requirements. - Advocating for user-centric design principles and establishing best practices and design quality standards. - Leading the entire design lifecycle, from user research and information architecture to prototyping and high-fidelity final designs using tools like Figma. - Conducting complex user research, usability studies, and A/B testing tailored to the behavioral patterns of investors in traditional markets. - Developing robust user flows and information architecture to simplify onboarding, trading, and portfolio management of diverse asset types. - Iterating on design solutions based on performance metrics, research findings, and evolving market dynamics. - Mentoring and guiding other designers on best practices for designing complex financial interfaces. - Presenting and defending design decisions and rationale effectively to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. - Contributing to and evolving the CoinDCX Design System to ensure scalability, accessibility, and consistency across all product lines. Qualifications required for excelling in this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. - 4+ years of proven experience as a Senior or Lead Product Designer, UX Designer, or equivalent, with expertise in complex product design and systems. - Strong experience designing for financial trading platforms, brokerages, or other products involving high-stakes decision-making and data visualization. - Expert proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma. - Deep understanding of web, mobile, and tablet design constraints and best practices. - Direct experience designing for cryptocurrency, Web3, or traditional asset classes. - Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies. - Knowledge of front-end implementation constraints and technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
