Job Description
As the Lead UX Designer at Saviynt, your primary focus will be on defining a pleasant and user-centric customer experience by designing simple workflows for Saviynt's SAAS platform. You will need to think in non-linear terms, capturing interactions, edge-cases, and various user experience states through deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity final deliverables. Your role will also involve managing design quality from UX designers and providing constructive critiques on their work.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Cultivate a holistic understanding of Saviynt's business and SAAS platform to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final pixel-perfect deliverables based on requirements from Product and various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with UX Researcher, Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to fulfill the overall product/feature vision.
- Manage bandwidth and project pipeline to execute designs in time with the team's software roadmap.
- Contribute to the construction of Saviynt's evolving pattern library.
- Provide prototypes/deliverables to describe interactions and motion to enhance UI.
- Lead design QA and take ownership of all assets delivered to Engineering.
- Maintain design systems and libraries to ensure product-wide visual consistency.
- Produce user-centric designs by creating user journey maps and developing personas.
- Provide constant and constructive design feedback to other designers.
- Lead design concept presentations to executive leadership, customers, and prospects.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or a related product design field.
- 5+ years of experience in a web-based, product-centric company.
- Must be a self-starter who drives projects forward through communication and diligence.
- Provide a customer-centric digital portfolio representing your design process.
- Exceptional design velocity, especially in developing concepts and variations.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes and prototypes with Figma.
- Strong understanding and practice of user-centric design principles.
- Strong skill in creating concepts to final pixel-perfect deliverables.
- A deeply collaborative and iterative approach to product design, focused on ensuring a unified experience across different platforms.
- Willingness to work with teammates and stakeholders in different time zones.
- Demonstrated experience creating complex mobile designs and workflows.
- Low ego approach and highly collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated experience presenting design concepts and workflows to company leaders and customers.
**Desired Experience:**
- Knowledge of Identity Security, Access Management, or Cybersecurity domain experience will be considered an advantage.
- Strong capability to understand complex data structures and provide design options on diverse hierarchies.
- Experience with motion graphics and UI animations for web apps.
- Experience with enterprise web-based products focused on platform administration.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and front-end prototyping.
- Experience with user research and quantitative usability testing.
- Knowledge of databases and programming.
- Experience with technical platform products and developer users.
- Experience with quantitative user behavior analysis software tools.
