Role Overview:
- As a Senior Data Analyst, your main responsibility will be to drive data-led decision-making by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. You will work on data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence to support strategic initiatives and enhance product and revenue outcomes. Your expertise in SQL querying, Google Analytics, data analysis, and machine learning model building will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities.
- Perform in-depth analysis on user behavior, engagement, subscriptions, and conversion funnels.
- Utilize Google Analytics (GA4) and other platforms to monitor user journeys, traffic sources, and campaign performance.
- Translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- Track key business KPIs, user engagement metrics, and revenue performance.
- Present insights and analysis to stakeholders across product, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Build and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics such as user churn prediction, conversion propensity, and recommendation systems.
- Apply statistical and ML techniques including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and process large datasets efficiently.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows for reliable data availability.
- Work with BigQuery and GCP/AWS data infrastructure for scalable data processing.
- Collaborate with product and growth teams to enhance user engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Propose data-driven ideas, experiments, and feature improvements with a product-focused mindset.
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced SQL and database querying skills.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) and product analytics.
- Strong data analysis and statistical modeling capabilities.
- Experience in machine learning model development and deployment.
- Proficient in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Understanding of big data tools, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Masters degree in Data Science, Analytics, or AI/ML is a plus.
