Lead Software Engineer-Java

Role Overview: You will work closely with your agile team for creating high-quality, innovative, and intuitive solutions to challenging and complex business problems. To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical and analytical skills to be applied to overcome challenges that arise when working across multiple technologies. You will harness your creativity to help develop solutions that consider our users and aim to significantly improve the productivity of their work day. Key Responsibilities: - Develop strong architecture and design using best practices, patterns, and business acumen. - Provide leadership and technical guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards. - Develop and maintain unit and unit integration tests that are part of an automated Continuous Integration pipeline. - Work closely with other teams (e.g., QA, Product) to release high-quality software. - Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve process and product quality in pursuit of excellence. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, MS SQL Server, and related technologies. - Hands-on experience on Springboot and No-SQL databases like Mongo DB, or Redis. - Experience with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/React js. - Good Knowledge on Oracle. Should be proficient in writing SQL query and Stored procedure. - Good Knowledge in k8s and docker. Experience in writing JUnit test cases. - Good understanding of software development principles, including Distributed System, object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles. - Working knowledge of VCNs e.g., GIT, SVN etc. Additional Details: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Elb, EKS and RDS, exposure to Cloud native technologies and integration patterns, and experience in Linux is a plus.
