Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack Development

As a Lead Software Engineer at the Modern Product Engineering BU's elite Solver Squad, your role will involve tackling complex client projects, building mission-critical internal platforms, and setting the standard for technical excellence. You are expected to have at least 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on architectural design and hands-on coding. Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables: - Architect and lead the end-to-end development of scalable, cloud-native applications by creating robust architectural blueprints, data flows, sequence diagrams, and API specifications. - Drive Cloud-Native & API-First Architecture, designing stateless, loosely coupled services optimized for GCP and AWS such as Cloud Run, Lambda, ECS. - Champion robust REST/gRPC API design and implementation standards. - Deconstruct ambiguous client problems into clear technical designs as the Solution Architect. - Contribute high-quality code in front-end (React, Angular, Vue) and backend micro-services (Node.js, Python, Go, Java). - Utilize AI coding assistants proficiently in daily workflow to accelerate high-quality code delivery. - Spearhead the creation of shared assets, frameworks, and code libraries to accelerate future project delivery. - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conduct detailed code reviews, and provide technical guidance. - Advocate for best practices in unit/integration testing, secure coding methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications, manage stakeholder expectations, and align engineering efforts with business impact using agile methodologies.
