Job Description
As a Lead QA Automation Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products through effective test automation strategies and plans. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify and address issues, maintain automated test cases, and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage product risks to prioritize testing efforts effectively.
- Implement and maintain automated test cases, including data creation and preparation.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated UI and API testing to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define quality standards and testing requirements.
- Conduct regression testing and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and stay up to date with industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Programming skills and OOP experience.
- Proficiency in English (B2+ level).
Preferred Qualifications and Tools:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience in performance testing, security testing, and usability testing.
- Knowledge of Web Applications and Cloud technologies.
- Experience with UI automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman and RestAssured.
- Leadership experience and self-management skills.
