Lead FPGA prototyping and emulation Engineer

As a Systems Design Engineer at AMD, your role is crucial in driving technical innovation and ensuring the highest quality of industry-leading technologies. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including tool and script development, prototyping and emulation flows, debugging issues, working with multiple teams, and engaging in software/hardware modeling frameworks. Your expertise in system engineering will contribute to the success of AMD's products. Key Responsibilities: - Driving technical innovation to enhance AMD's capabilities in validation, tool and script development, and technical methodology enhancement - Leading the prototyping and emulation flows and methodologies for product development - Driving modeling efforts for un-synthesizable blocks to optimize platform capacities - Debugging issues throughout SOC programs phases - Collaborating with multiple teams to ensure timely validation and optimization of all features - Working closely with supporting technical teams and engaging in software/hardware modeling frameworks - Leading a collaborative approach with multiple teams to drive technical progress Preferred Experience: - Around 8 years of experience or more in the field - Proficiency in programming/scripting skills such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python - Extensive hands-on experience in prototyping and emulation flows with vendor flows - Proficient in System C modeling, TLM, and SCEMI based solutions - Strong knowledge of high-speed protocols and common lab equipment - Extensive experience in board/platform-level debugging and system architecture - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Self-starter with the ability to independently drive tasks to completion Academic Credentials: - Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or electronics engineering Please note that AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies or headhunters.
