Job Description
You will be working on various Finance transformation projects as a Program Manager, where you will be responsible for resource planning, intake, prioritization, and reporting. Your role will involve reporting progress and building dashboards for C-level executives. You will lead a team to plan and execute transitions of work from various geographies to GCC. As part of your responsibilities, you will identify risks and challenges, build mitigation plans, create transition calendars, report progress, drive parallel runs, and obtain sign-offs from stakeholders for go-live.
One of your key responsibilities will be to assess existing state process flows, define the target state, identify necessary capabilities, and outline high-level requirements and a roadmap to achieve the target state. You will also drive business prioritization for optimal return on investment (ROI) and focus on delivering ROI through continuous efficiency gains in process automations and simplification.
In addition, you will be required to collaborate with regional process owners and other cross-functional business partners to prioritize process improvement initiatives impacting the global process. You will facilitate discussions on business process changes with respective teams and cross-functional business partners. Moreover, you will work with global and regional process owners to identify key process metrics, monitor progress, and identify areas of improvement continuously.
Your role will also involve providing thought leadership for finance processes, researching best practices, offering guidance for process changes, and ensuring business transformation activities are prioritized and aligned with the project roadmap. You will also be responsible for analyzing the local versus global reporting framework, identifying gaps in data, and working towards standardizing reporting globally.
Your skills should include a steady work experience in finance transformation projects, the ability to identify opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, strong prioritization skills, ability to manage deadlines and escalate issues when necessary, and experience with RPA or major software platforms such as SAP and Oracle. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office software is required.
As for qualifications, you should have a CA/MBA from a tier-1 B-school, with overall work experience of 8-10 years in a large US multinational company. You should have experience in business critical finance projects, cross-cultural adaptability, management experience leading small teams, and experience in business process analysis or business systems analysis in Finance areas like P2P, O2C, and RTR. Additionally, you should have experience in finance transformation or strategy & assessment, along with knowledge of various accounting standards and regulations.
Please note that attention to detail, organizational skills, initiative-taking, team player attitude, strong relationship building, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential personal characteristics for this role.
