Lead Developer/Architect

As an experienced Architect, you will be responsible for designing and leading the development of scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS. Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) will be crucial in ensuring efficient provisioning. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Driving automation and efficiency across DevOps pipelines and CI/CD deployments. - Working hands-on with one core programming language (Java, Python, or C++) to develop critical components and architectural prototypes. - Ensuring system integrity and performance using relational databases like NoSQL, effective monitoring, and logging tools. - Integrating secure coding practices, conducting security testing, and supporting compliance requirements. - Collaborating cross-functionally in a highly Agile environment to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. - Utilizing Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in software development, system design, and architecture. - Proven expertise in cloud technologies, especially AWS, and strong proficiency with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). - Deep experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and infrastructure monitoring/logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). - Strong grasp of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development lifecycle. - Mastery in at least one of the following: Java, Python, or C++. - Experience in Agile development environments and working with distributed teams.
