Landscape Architect I

Role Overview: The Landscape & Urban Design practice in Atkins India is expanding to contribute to different sectors including Property, Infrastructure & Transportation. They are looking for highly motivated landscape architects and urban designers to shape a well-integrated team delivering projects globally. As an Urban Designer at Atkins, you will have the opportunity to lead small to medium Urban design and Urban Planning projects, develop master planning concepts, produce drawings and reports, and work on public realm projects. You will also be responsible for project completion, team management, bid contributions, and liaising with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership and lead small to medium Urban design and Urban Planning projects under supervision - Develop master planning and urban design concepts using 3D and digital mediums - Produce drawings, graphics, models, and reports through concept to detail design stages - Lead Middle East projects with complete design and delivery ownership - Work effectively under supervision and bring urban design concepts to large scale public realm projects - Draft technical reports and contractual documents of acceptable quality - Set design standards and parameters, check team's work quality, guide team members, and ensure project completion within time and cost - Lead interdisciplinary technical co-ordination and travel globally as required - Contribute to bids and proposals, manage multi-disciplinary projects, and ensure compliance with design standards and codes Qualifications Required: - Master's Degree in Urban Design from reputed universities - Minimum 10 years of experience in Master planning Projects, Middle East experience preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Urban Design or Architecture with relevant experience considered - Chartered candidates have an added advantage - Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, Adobe software, MS Office, SketchUp, and BIM related software - Good knowledge of standard regulations, best practices, and problem-solving skills - International experience in the UK, ME, or APAC regions beneficial - Excellent communication skills, logical approach to project delivery, and ability to work independently or in a team - Proactive in managing time, resources, and budget, able to discuss concerns with the Line Manager, and demonstrate leadership skills Company Details (if available): AtkinsRalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization that aims to transform the world's infrastructure and energy systems.
