Job Description

As a Key Account Manager in the Institution Business BU in Mumbai at Novo Nordisk, your role involves: - Implementing account plans effectively for strategic accounts - Identifying and mapping key stakeholders in each account, meeting external stakeholders, detailing the companys products, and implementing Institution marketing campaigns and projects with a B2B approach - Displaying a service mindset, proposing solutions, being result-oriented, and achieving sales targets from respective accounts by networking effectively with hospital staff - Demonstrating in-depth awareness of the accounting ecosystem, knowledge of multiple KOLs, administrators, nurses, educators, purchase officers, etc., interpreting physician referral patterns, trends, and financial margins, and optimizing sales resources You are expected to: - Anchor strong knowledge across the products in Novo Nordisk Portfolio, communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify gaps in the current treatment regimen, convince them of the benefits of the NN portfolio, and tailor communication solutions based on stakeholder needs - Take initiative and collaborate closely with the Institution team in headquarters (Marketing, Market Access, etc.) - Conduct face-to-face meetings with physicians and medical staff from referring hospitals, ensure understanding, close business deals, identify and minimize obstacles - Carry out activities like CME, PEP, and other relevant activities in important state hospitals regularly, meeting all important doctors who have attended the meetings, and obtaining necessary approvals for planned activities Additionally, your responsibilities include: - Meeting Hospital Pharmacies regularly to check stock movement, indents, demand, and purchase - Ensuring timely supply of products to Hospitals and HCPs by coordinating with stockists and channel partners, obtaining discount approvals/special rates/product bundling, and mapping Hospital sales monthly for products - Following procedures like daily call reporting, monthly reporting, adhering to tour programs, handbook guidelines, updating account plans/Hospital formats, and sending necessary approval formats on time - Completing training on time, ensuring strong outcomes in periodic assessments, conducting business as per the organizations ambition and in NN Way, and complying with Novo Nordisk principles and internal and external rules/legislations Qualifications required: - Full-time Bachelors degree in Pharma/Science from a reputed institution - Minimum of 6-7 years of industry work experience - Proficiency in business development at ground levels in Hospitals - Openness to relocation, good communication, analytical, and negotiation skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this position, apply on or before 3rd April 2023.
