Junior Talent Acquisition Executive

You will be joining Urban School, a company dedicated to building solutions for the education ecosystem, particularly focusing on teacher recruitment through the Urban Teacher App. Your role as a Junior Talent Acquisition Executive will involve independently managing teacher hiring requirements for partnered schools under the guidance of the Head of HR. Your responsibilities will include receiving and understanding hiring mandates, sourcing and screening teacher profiles, conducting first-round interviews, maintaining candidate trackers, coordinating interview schedules, and ensuring positive candidate and stakeholder experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and understand hiring requirements from partnered schools - Source and screen teacher profiles based on role requirements - Conduct first-round interviews independently - Evaluate candidates on communication skills, subject expertise, classroom readiness, and overall suitability - Maintain structured candidate trackers and hiring dashboards - Share shortlisted profiles with schools within defined timelines - Coordinate interview scheduling between schools and candidates - Follow up consistently on feedback and hiring decisions - Support in closing open positions within agreed timelines - Ensure positive candidate and stakeholder experience Key Skills & Requirements: - 1-2 years of experience in Recruitment / Talent Acquisition (education hiring preferred) - Experience in sourcing candidates from Naukri, Indeed & other educational hiring platforms - Background in HR / MBA HR / BBA / Psychology / related fields - Strong communication skills in Telugu and English (Hindi is a plus) - Confident in conducting structured interviews - Good evaluation, judgment, and screening ability - Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven - Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously - Strong ownership and follow-up mindset About Urban School: Urban School is dedicated to building solutions for the education ecosystem, particularly focusing on teacher recruitment through the Urban Teacher App. As the company expands its school partnerships in Hyderabad, the Talent Acquisition team is being strengthened to efficiently manage recruitment operations at scale.
