Junior Software Engineer - C++/Microservices Architecture

As a C++ Microservices Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance microservices that power our core applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining microservices using C++. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Writing clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. - Implementing and maintaining APIs for communication between services. - Optimizing existing services for performance and scalability. - Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback. - Troubleshooting and debugging production issues. - Maintaining documentation for architecture, design, and implementation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 1+ years of experience in C++ development. - Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning in C++. - Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with gRPC or other RPC frameworks, exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies, and knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. Additionally, please note the following requirements: - Product or Semiconductor or Hardware Manufacturing company experience is a MUST. - Candidates from engineering product companies have higher chances of getting shortlisted. - Current company or past experience must not be HCL or Nvidia. - The selection process includes 3 technical rounds and an HR round. - The work mode is hybrid, allowing for flexibility between remote and office work.
